It is the middle of summer and the weather is the best for outdoor activities.
you leave the irrational part of our fear of COVID-19 home and decide to head to the trails to ride our bikes.
The sun is out, but the trees give shade. The trails are mostly empty, there is a slight breeze on your back that helps you go easier, faster, and makes you happy.
Everything is going your way, and you are enjoying your ride. What a fantastic way to get out of the house after all these weeks of quarantine, even if it is only for a short time, and making sure to stay six feet away from other people.
You are really enjoying the break!
A few miles into your ride you start to sweat. It's not a big deal, but you start questioning your decision to shave that morning.
As you keep pedaling, the strap of your helmet starts to rub your neck and chin. "It's no biggie", you think, trying to convince yourself.
Your skin is sensitive from the shave, and after a few more minutes the rubbing has become intense. You decide to go back home and end the suffering.
You get back home safely, put the bike away, take a good shower, and go on with the rest of your day.
The next morning you wake up to an irritated chin. You know the reason for this, and pay no attention to it.
On the second morning after your ride, your neck and chin are still showing signs of irritation!
You need to do something, but don't know what!
You go to Twitter to crowdsource for information, and are surprised to find several recommendations! One is even a familiar one: Bump Stopper, the one your father used to use. You check online and realize that Bump Stopper-2 can put an end to your misery in a few days, and for less than ten bucks!
Since you can't wait two or three days for the product to arrive in the mail, you check the list of retailers that sell it and found one a few minutes from your home!
When you come back you wash your neck and chin and apply it with a massage, working it in the skin. You feel an immediate pinch of relief, and the best part is that it doesn't sting, nor has any strong fragrance. As a matter of fact, it doesn't smell at all!
By the time you go to bed, you know you've made the right move, and before falling asleep, you pick up your phone to thank the people on Twitter that recommended it.
It's been a great day after all!
